Meet Rosi

Rosi Merz
Ecologist / Researcher
  • As a contractor she offer on-site restoration work, and as a consultant she offer ecological advice and planning, and thrives in collaboration with others to bring big visions to fruition.

  • Rosi's job is to thoroughly understand natural ecosystems and then harness that knowledge to craft the most appropriate and systematic restoration strategies for each site.
  • In the projects over the past ten years she has been working in Conservation, towards this goal, by doing field research in ecological restoration and invasive mammalian predator control.
  • Drawing from my BSc in Ecology and Biodiversity (VUW), she has come to understand ecosystems, biodiversity drivers, and many other environmental dynamics.

Meet Joe

Joe Dobson
Contractor, Fieldworker
  • Joe's skills in project co-ordination and problem-solving, in addition to his capacity to navigate tricky projects, and set expectations, are well suited to dealing with the bigger restoration projects.

  • As a contractor he offers on-site , hands-on restoration work, may it be planting days, effective best-practice trapline set up or maintenance.

  • He has a background in entrepreneurship, community events, bee keeping, building treehouses, and creating and managing small NZ businesses.
  • What makes Joe an invaluable assest to any project is his relentless drive and his fast and effective execution of tasks. Every project with Joe Dobson on board gets done to high standards and achieves best outcomes.
